Henner Group granted a brokerage licence for the Asia-Pacific region

The Henner Group, health and life insurance specialist and leader in group health insurance, has just been granted a brokerage licence in Hong Kong to support the development of its international business.

Having opened a representative office in Hong Kong in 2014, the Henner Group now has its first brokerage licence for the Asia-Pacific region.

On the strength of this licence, the Henner Group will be able to respond to the significant needs of French companies established in Asian countries. It also gives the Henner Group new ways of marketing its health and life insurance services to international clients of all nationalities, directly or through partner brokers.

According to Emmanuel Isenbrandt, Henner’s International Business Director: “The granting of this first brokerage licence marks a key stage in our international development. For many Henner Group clients, the Asia-Pacific region is a major development area, so it is essential that we be able to support them in providing social protection for their employees.”

Very active internationally, the Henner Group has been developing its business in Asia since 1999, trading as “GMC Services” via a fifty-strong network of partner brokers.

Through its medical network, the largest privately owned international healthcare network (42,800 health providers working in 166 countries), the Henner Group covers tens of thousands of expatriate employees in countries all round the world.
